André Michelle just created a wallpaper using a special technique:
This wallpaper is rendered by millions of particles traced by color brushes to assemble the logo. It is basically done in Actionscript with some Photoshop tweaking for shadowing and background.
You can get them in different resolutions here. Nice.
Here’s a second one with the setup I just played with for 15 minutes.
Holy jazz. Yes. Just got to check out the updated Audiotool with its new setup (dock, recording options, etc). Look at this beauty. Leave a comment if you want to test the prerelease. Official release is October 1st.
Hobnox is sponsoring the coffee - here are the facts:
If you enjoy good coffee and conversation Likemind is the way to start your day at St. Oberholz, Rosenthalerplatz in Berlin. There is no agenda and no have to’s, only an opportunity to meet new people and talk about stuff you like (or dislike). Last month was loads of fun and a lot of good people came, on Friday it’s time for the second edition so don’t miss out! Starts at 9am and last 2 hours max.
Way to go, Audiotool. Congrats to the team André, Joa and the boys. Keep it up. Update of the tool expected in a couple of weeks.
Our very own CLTR/CTRL host & reporter Juli Fox spent 4 busy days during the Berlin Fashion Week chasing what’s hot and not in the world of fashion. Here are the first results:

Zoot Woman on Sly-Fi. Awesome. Full screen here. Interview here.
CLTR/CTRL, the new channel on Hobnox is online now. Covering all things fashion, arts, streetart and sports, it replaces Str33t as an own channel that becomes a show on CLTR/CTRL. You’ll also see the new channel navigation that was released in its first beta version last week. I posted the list and some screenshots of the new features over in the Hobnox blog.
Here’s the trailer we produced for CLTR/CTRL:
To quote the jury: ‘The idea is gound-breaking’. Thanks.

We just kicked-off the Evolution2 Contest on Hobnox. It is a contest designed to empower emerging creative artists. We’re looking for the best projects submitted to the contest in the three categories music, film and culture. The prize? A $30,000 artist development package for the winner of each category.
If you want to participate, register with Hobnox and visit the contest page here for more info (timelines and submission wizard).
Please reblog if you know anyone that could be interested in participating. C’mon folks, we all know that creatives of all kinds could use some extra cash to realise their artistic project.
By the way, if you want to check out the winners of the first Evolution Contest, see the video portraits below (sorry, in German):
Music - ‘Boombaker’
Film - The film team that produced ‘Philanthrop
Culture - ‘Missy Magazine
Joa again. This time in a video. He and Kai-Philipp spent the evening playing around with the Audiotool to test it in action with a Midi keyboard.
The little glowing cubes are from here.
