Just came back from Ignite Berlin where in his talk, Robert Boehme presented the robot he’s working on.
He and his team are participating in a competition initiated by Google called Google Lunar X Prize. 15 teams from around the world are competing for a $30 million prize.
The goal is to “safely land a robot on the surface of the Moon, travel 500 meters over the lunar surface, and send images and data back to the Earth.”
Now that is badass.
