How we listen to music.

This is fun, Mark just posted the different ways he listens to music. Check it out. Here’s mine:

Analog (frequent):

• Vinyl

Digital (frequent to all the time):

• Spotify
• Tumblr Dashboard
• Streampad on Tumblr blogs
• Music blog MP3 posts
• Music blogs via HypeMachine
• iTunes ‘recently added’
• iTunes full albums
• Vimeo music videos
• SoundCloud Dashboard
• Soundcloud Dropbox
• iPod shuffle
• iPod full albums
• iPod recently added

Analog (close to never):

• Cassette
• Radio

Digital (occasionally to infrequent to almost never):

• iTunes shuffle
• iTunes playlists (mostly mixtapes from blogs)
• Last.fm ‘radio’
• YouTube music videos
• CD
• MP3 CD

What about you?  Are there methods you use that Mark or I didn’t mention?

9. alohanico answered: I still listen to a ton of podcasts, and I’m fortunate enough to be able to check out random local shows at least 1 or 2x a week.
10. everythingsucked answered: I stick with (whenever possible) buying CDs and importing them to the iPod Classic. Having the liner notes is key, I save everything.
