Today at NAMM we announced the first in a series of integrations with professional audio software makers, laying the groundwork for what’s to be expected this year: offering the easiest way for music creators to export music seamlessly to your SoundCloud account from were you move your work across the web.
The first two products we’re integrating with are Studio One from PreSonus and Audiofile Engeneering’s Wave Editor. Both apps now support direct upload of tracks direct to a SoundCloud account from within the application, bypassing the need to bounce tracks to the desktop and then upload.
This is a big step for SoundCloud and there are many more similar announcements to be expected in the coming months - one of the most notable being the integration with Ableton Live.
All this is made possible thanks to our robust API of which both companies have said that the integration was “simple, straightforward and took very little time.” View high resolution
