What a day!
Long day getting prepped for a major release we’re pushing to SoundCloud tomorrow. I know I announced it a while back and after a short delay, we’re all set for the big day. It will be SoundCloud’s biggest release ever, introducing new features on the Premium accounts and also adding a new entry-level Premium account for active artists on a tighter budget.
Spent the day getting prepped with site copy, blog posts, email notifications and a lot of stuff I already forgot but I spent the majority of my day reaching out to our Premium users preparing them for the upcoming changes and giving away a couple of anniversary gifts.
Hard to believe that the site has only been available to the general public for one year, it definitely feels longer.
Speaking to users is amazing, I love our users. They’re so positively vocal and passionate about the service. Even when something’s weird to them, a few words can turn an entire experience showing that customer service is among the most powerful marketing a startup can do.
Five hours of sleep and then just a few more hours until we unleash the beast. Tomorrow’s going to be awesome.
