Why I think Foursquare will work
This is not going to be a long analysis, just a real-life experience I just made:
Two weeks ago, a new (and fantastic) deli opened just down the street of our office. Had lunch there 4 times since the opening. It’s great: fresh, fine and delish.
Today, I asked them if they want to be part of the first few venues doing mayor offers when Foursquare Berlin launches next week and they immediately said yes. It took him two minutes to get the concept and he was sold.
Imagine what happens, when he’ll see the first people checking in, when they’ll greet their first mayor, then the first ousting, etc.
I’m so going to be their first mayor!
