Things will be quiet here for a bit, going off the grid!
Tonight, by way of Paris, I’m flying to Vietnam for a couple of weeks. We’re flying into Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and will stay in the city for a few days. We haven’t made up our minds yet but it looks like we’ll be traveling to an island called Phu Quoc in the Gulf of Thailand, near the Cambodian border.
It’s been an unbelievable three years since I last went on a longer trip like this one. It took a while to admit to myself that I desperately needed some time off and it feels like my body has been ordering me to for a while now.
Armed with books and a few tshirts (no iPhone, yikes!), I hope to be back refreshed, re-energized and ready to kick off the new year.
