Monocle names Zürich the world's most livable city

Interesting story behind the ranking by Tyler Brulé, editor-in-chief of Monocle magazine. I find it particularly interesting to see that with all the statistics (soft & hard) they used to come up with such a ranking, Tyler, who lived in Zürich for a year, didn’t enjoy it that much. Zürich won because of all factors you can imagine but the reason Tyler left again was this:

Zürich might have been a liveable city then but it wasn’t a welcoming one.

I agree. I love Zürich but the Swiss can be annoying sometimes.

By the way: Berlin comes in #10 on the list and there is no American city included aside from Honululu.
