–  The End Of The CrunchPad This story about the quick demise of the crunchpad is really crazy. I can’t believe someone would try to pull this kind of bullshit with someone so prominent as a the founder of the most popular tech blog in the world. Like Arrington, I’m sad this project didn’t work out....

nabeel: Music Hack Day Boston was one of the better little events I’ve been to in a while. Mostly because it actually felt like people were getting things done, there was soldering and coding and deals — it felt like the opposite of a chatter-fest. I was happy to have been able to contribute in my very minor way by speaking on a panel about Starting a Music Business. For those who run events,...

whitneymcn: Wow. GBAttle’s Cult post kicked off a chain of associations…I had completely forgotten that in high school I played in a band that did a version of Suicidal Tendencies’ I Saw Your Mommy. Or, given how we likely sounded, perhaps it’s “repressed” rather than “forgotten.” I used to sing/scream for a hardcore band back home. We always played Join The Army at our live shows.

Music: Too Expensive to Be Free, Too Free to Be... →
That’s a good summary of the challenges that music/tech/streaming sites are facing at the moment. It will be interesting to wake up in January and observe how these companies evolve. I still have a more longish post in my head addressing this very issue but haven’t found the time to get on it. (via yvynyl, artistspaid)

Thinking.
Sometimes I really wish I could rely on someone as much as I always try to make someone else feel that he or she can always rely on me. I help you out, you help me out. Right? Isn’t that how it’s supposed to be? I don’t mean keeping track of these things but there are ‘rules’ we don’t need to define, right?
