The SixtyOne.com - Great Music Discovery Site
TheSixtyOne is a great music discovery site I hadn’t heard about until now, they seem to be new to the internets (copyright mention says 2008). It lets browse you through different music styles very easily. The overview of songs is well done, once you start a song, it lets you browse through the site without the song stopping. That’s a simple but great feature. No need to open new...

Band Of The Week: Faker
Okay, their last album was released in November 2007 but until now I hadn’t heard about them until I stumbled across a remix of ‘This Heart Attack’ by Miami Horror. The band Faker (site is down, Wikipedia) hails from Sydney, Australia and has been around since 1996 before going mainstream in 2007 with their album ‘Be The Twilight’ (EMI). Here’s the remix...

Always a delight to watch this performance by Digitalism recorded by Sly-Fi.com on last years Melt! Festival. Got me hooked this evening. But instead of going partying with Soulwax live, I am drinking canned Rich Prosecco from the office in my big ass sublet apartment on my first official Berlin-Friday-Night.

Hobnox Audiotool On DIGG Took Off Like A Rocket
Last night’s post about the Hobnox Audiotool on the Wired Blog got picked up by the DIGG users: As I write this, more than 1000 people have dugg the story. That’s amazing, we even made it to the front page of DIGG, as my colleague Andy from team Boston posted earlier today:

Hobnox Audiotool Featured On Wired's Blog
This is great. Eliot Van Buskirk of Wired’s Blog ‘The Listening Post’ did a nice feature of the Hobnox Audiotool. We’re thrilled, thanks a lot for the nice write-up and support: We’ve seen plenty of sites that let you make or mix music in a rudimentary way, but none that offer the deep feature set of Hobnox AudioTool. This free online electronic music studio lets you...

peterwknox: trappedintime: Want to listen to Death Cab For Cutie’s new album, Narrow Stairs? For Free? Muxtape’s got it =) The first two tracks may be the best (“Bixby Canyon Bridge” and the amazing “I Will Possess Your Heart”), and while I personally don’t feel it’s as good as Transatlanticism, it’s a much better direction than Plans. Enjoy! How I wish you could see the potential, the...
